Young Thug Shows Off Unreleased Track Amid Rumors Of New Album Drop

A new report from Hot New Hip Hop said today that Young Thug has a new album coming up, and he recently showed off a preview of an unreleased track. The outlet says Young Thug has a massive catalog of thousands of unreleased songs and albums that never came to be.

However, this past year, Thugger did manage to drop a new project on what was his major-label debut. At the time, fans thought Thugger would continue releasing back-to-back records on account of his major-label deal.

Rumor has it that Thugger does have a new project coming up, but it’s unclear when he plans to release it. More importantly, his girlfriend, Karlae, recently took to her IG to share a preview of one of his ballads.

The rapper has been in the news for other reasons these days as well, so it’s safe to assume Young Thug is trying to keep his name out there, that way fans aren’t surprised to see a new project.

In case you missed it, French Montana sparked contention when, during an interview, he claimed he had more hit songs than his fellow rapper, Kendrick Lamar. Montana conceded that Lamar had “masterpieces;” he had full LPs that were true works of art.

However, French Montana claimed it would be a challenge for him to go toe-to-toe with him at a music festival. Montana was shamed on social media for about two weeks because of his comments, and Young Thug was one such critic.

French Montana and Young Thug engaged in a social media spat for several days which, in some cases, lasted throughout the night as well. The pair of rappers posted embarrassing pictures of each other and swapped insults for what seemed like an eternity.

Kendrick Lamar never got involved. Other rappers to chime in included Gunna and Wheezy, who took Young Thug’s side. Earlier this year, Young Thug also complained about the coronavirus pandemic. The performing artist said he was losing out on millions of dollars due to canceled concerts and more.
