The bigger they are, the harder they fall and this was the case for 6ft 9in Antonio Mireles last Saturday.
The heavyweight prospect faced Patrick Mailata, who weighed 321lbs - that's heavier than former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall when he fought Thor Bjornsson in their 'titanweight' match.
The fight came on the undercard of Jose Ramirez vs Richard Commey and up to this point in his six fight professional career, Mireles had not fought past the second round having knocked out all of his previous opponents.
But, Mailata pushed the 25-year-old 'El Gigante' right to the limit.
The first few rounds passed by quietly, but in round three, Mailata landed a crushing right hand that immediately buckled the legs of Mireles.
The American's legs turned to jelly and he was dancing around for what seemed to be an eternity before eventually dropping to the canvas.
Somehow, Mireles beat the referee's count and made it back to his feet, as he was saved by the bell for the end of the round.
'El Gigante' went on to enjoy more success over the remaining rounds of the fight and he claimed victory by split decision to keep his unbeaten record intact.
